I don’t want to forget…

and sometimes you don’t need words

“Really, other than X-Men, I’d only done indies, and I was fine with doing indies for the rest of my life, and then just moving to directing and never really being in the limelight that much. And this, I knew it was going to be huge, and that’s scary. And then my mom told me that I was being a hypocrite because whenever people asked me why I always did indies and not studios, I said because it doesn’t matter about the size of the movie, it matters about the script. And she said, “This is a script that you love and you’re thinking about not doing it because of the size of it. You’re a hypocrite.” And I don’t want to not do something because I’m scared, so I said yes, and I’m so happy I did.”
